Five time Pearl Award Winning Singer/songwriter, April Meservy (pronounced: muh-SIR-vee), has been featured on over 100 albums and compilations released all over the world, in addition to film and commercial spots. Touring nearly 50 cities throughout the Western and Midwestern United States, after the release of her debut album, Somewhere Between Sunsets, Meservy has had the opportunity to perform extensively, alongside Russian tour-mate and MTV-Duet Winner, Nikki Forova.
Originally hailing from Reno, Nevada, April's love for singing and songwriting has led her to opportunities to performance opportunities in places as far away as China and as close as Salt Lake City, such as her invitation to sing in Salt Lake City's Olympic Square during the 2002 Winter Olympics. She has performed alongside platinum-selling singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson (Vanguard Records) and other notable musicians across the country from Los Angeles to Boston.
April can be regularly found in the recording studio. Diverse in style, her vocals can be heard on recordings ranging from jazz/blues to pop/rock, from contemporary gospel to dance/electronica. As a credit to her work in the studio, she was honored with three Pearl Awards for "Studio Vocalist of the Year" as well as awards for "Contemporary Recording of the Year" (EFY song Shine "The Light") and "Devotional Recorded Song." She recently received an award from the Interfaith Power & Light Earth Song Competition for her song "Marks of My Path," featured on her new record.
April's love for songwriting has led her to various publishing and recording offers. In July 2007, she created her own independent label, Forêt d'Musique, (Jèrriais: "Forest of Music") on which she released Somewhere Between Sunsets and continues to released albums produced for other musical artists.

"I can honestly say this is one of the best albums I own. It's not a CD where you skip through half the songs to get to your two or three favorites. It's a journey that invites the listener to feel and think. It's someone putting their heart out on their sleeve, inviting you to take it and relate." "April Meservy has a new album available on Itunes ... April cites Eva Cassidy as one of her influences. Like Eva she crosses many genres - there’s even a Bossa Nova on the new release. The debut manages to be contemporary while sounding timeless. A wonderfully engaging collection. I'm very impressed!"
– Dennis Carter, Writer

"I just listened to a bunch of your songs...and I am blown away! Wow! I've always been a big fan of your voice - I just didn't know you were such a talented writer as well! Seriously. Very nice work! love the vibe of the album as a whole, in addition to each song having it's own voice and unique stylistic features. Your voice is very versatile, and has both a very modern "now" sound as well as a "timeless" sound to it...a priceless combination. Anyway, just wanted to congratulate you on an excellent job. Well done!"
– Aaron Merrill, Composer/Music Producer
